For numeracy this week, you will be shown how to complete calculations which result in a negative number. This understanding will then be applied to problem solving activities. You will also be shown how to express (show) remainders as fractions and decimals when dividing. We often find it difficult to represent remainders appropriately when problem solving so you will have the opportunity to practice this too. Finally, you will be asked to calculate the 'mean' average of a set of data. I always say mean averages are mean because you have to do two calculations - all we be made clear!!
