St William of York Catholic Primary School
For literacy this week, I would like you to follow the link below and complete the daily work provided by Oak National Academy. This week, you will be practicing key word retrieval during a reading comprehension, identifying key features of non chronological reports, writing a non chronological report and reminding yourselves what modal verbs are. I think it is a good idea if you practice the spellings provided during the tutorial as well as the spellings I have provided for you.
The Oak National Academy spellings are:
(i before e except after c rule.)
deceive
conceive
receive
perceive
ceiling
receipt
conceit
deceit
If you are unsure of the meanings of any of these words, check in an online dictionary. Can you find any synonyms or antonyms?
