For homework this week we would like you to practise reading high frequency words. You will have brought home some laminated words. These words are the words that you will be expected to be able to read on sight at the end of Year One. You could begin by seeing how many of these words you know. You can play games with the words - lay them out on a table, ask a grown up to say a word and you have to find and tap the correct word. You could stick the words up around your house in places where you will see them everyday. Below are some links to interactive games and songs that will help you to learn to read these high frequency words.
You also have some homework on number bonds on my maths, you brought home some information about this today. Take a look in the folder above for more information.
Take a look in the homework challenge folder if you would like some extra activities. You don't have to complete these they are optional. You also have some spellings to learn this week. You will find them in the spellings tab. Don't work too hard - enjoy your half term!
