This week, I thought you would enjoy analysing, reading and performing poetry. I have added some youtube clips for you to look at; Michael Rosen gives us some great tips on how to perform poetry and Benjamin Zephaniah shows us how it is done using his unique style. You can learn all about Benjamin Zephaniah as I have included a comprehension activity for you to work through. Please note, there are three comprehensions which get progressively more difficult, have a go at the second or third task. I would like you to follow the daily learning activities on BBC bitesize, watch the youtube videos, select a poem out of the example poems I have provided for you and perform it. It would be brilliant if you could video yourself to share with us when we return to school.
