The book trust have brought their 'Pyjamarama' reading event day forward to this Friday!
Parents can sign up to a newsletter for an overview of the day with the whole aim being to promote bedtime stories and encourage reading at home. The best part is that children can stay in their pj's all day! As long as they read as often as possible,of course! There are downloadable activities and guest authors appearing. The website also has a hometime hub with stories and rhymes that can be shared as well as drawing demonstrations.
