I hope that some of you managed to spot some common plants and trees last week?  I would love to see your photographs and share them on our webpage if you did manage to find any.  Please send any photos to my email at

Continuing from last week where we identified some common plants and trees, this week we will be identifying and describing the basic structure of a common flowering plant.  I would like you to be able to point to and name the parts of a plant including leaves, flowers, fruit, seeds, roots, bulb, trunk, branches and stem.  First I would like you to watch the following videos:
