From 2017, St William of York School now run an in house Children's University programme (previously being part of the Sefton Children's University). The programme recognises the learning & development children gain from attending a variety of after school activities such as Dance, Drama, Sport etc. Children who take part in after school activities both in school & out of school collect points and at the end of Year 6, if they have collected enough points, they are invited to graduate at the Annual Awards Ceremonu. Points are automatically collected for free activities in school, out of the normal day, & a passport can be purchased from the school office for £1 to collect points outside school. Many organisations are part of the Children's University scheme, please check the website for details of members.
