Year 3

Year 3 Team

Class Teacher: Miss Fearon

Teaching Assistant: Mrs Le Goff

1:1 support: Mrs Hunter

A huge welcome to all our lovely Year 3's!

The children have settled into the juniors brilliantly and we are really enjoying getting to know them. The children have returned with lots of enthusiasm and are adapting well to all the new routines (as well as enjoying catching up with all their friends). I am confident we will have a great year!

Please keep checking our class page for regular updates and messages.

Your child will need:

  • A book bag - for reading books, letters and homework.
  • A water bottle.
  • A healthy snack (snacks are not provided in KS2).
  • A packed lunch (unless having a school lunch).
  • PE kit and pumps.

PE will take place every Tuesday afternoon. Children should come into school that day dressed in their full school PE kit:

  • School PE top and school jumper
  • Purple school shorts or black leggings/joggers
  • Black pumps
  • Football or leisure wear are not permitted

Homework will be given out every Friday (maths/grammar/spellings and reading) to be completed and returned to school the following Thursday.

As you know, homework is an important part of consolidating the children's knowledge of what they learn in school and so we appreciate your continued support at home.

Please see below for an overview of the curriculum for the autumn term.

  • Together Everyone Achieves More.
