As you know the government have suggested that children in Nursery (not 2 year olds), Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 should start to return to school from 1st June 2020. Please read the published guidance in the link below.
We are in the very early planning stages of looking at how we can implement this return in a safe, structured way as directed by the DfE, to ensure the safety of all. It is unlikely that children will do their normal hours in school but we hope to produce a rota so that all children in the specified year groups spend some time in school before the summer holidays.
In order for us to plan effectively we are asking that parents, of children in those year groups, who DO NOT wish their child to return to school after 1st June to email the school using the email address below to let us know as this will make our planning more accurate as we have to limit numbers in each class. admin.stwilliamofyork@schools.sefton.gov.uk
