Message from Rimrose Valley Friends

I just wanted to let you know about a FREE activity taking place on Rimrose Valley which is perfect for your pupils and their families, starting this Sunday 19th September.
WALK/RUN/CYCLE/PLAY encourages people to get active on a Sunday morning between 10am-midday.  It is being delivered by HYPE Merseyside; a community interest company based on the Wirral.  Rimrose Valley Friends secured funding for HYPE (Helping Young People Everywhere) to deliver this programme of events via Sport England's tackling inequalities fund, managed by our local branch of the Canal & River Trust.
The activity is open to all and participants can choose to walk, run or cycle a defined route around Rimrose Valley... or take part in football training at Liverpool County FA's Sefton site on Drummond Road (formerly Play Football) which is also the base for the events.
The activity is completely FREE to all participants.
There are 3 sessions taking place on the following dates between 10:00am and midday:
  • Sunday 19th September
  • Sunday 26th September
  • Sunday 3rd October
Registration is essential and can be done via this Eventbrite link.
We would be extremely grateful if you could share details of this activity with your pupils and their families so that we can reach as big an audience as possible.  We want to encourage people to get active and maybe even discover Rimrose Valley for the first time.
I'm attaching a digital copy of the flyer for these events and copying both Matt and Will from HYPE in case you have any specific questions for them.
Thank you!
