The school was inspected by Ofsted on Thursday 6th December & the inspector found the school has maintained the good quality of education since the last inspection in 2014. The full report can be found under Key Information, Ofsted report on the website.
As a school we are extremely proud of the report which highlights its many strengths. The inspector was particularly impressed with the behaviour of the children and their very positive attitudes towards their learning. She also commented on the very good teaching and the breadth of the curriculum available to children here at St William of York. Parental responses were overwhelmingly positive and reinforced the view that the school provides a good standard of education for all the children; the increasing demand for places across all year groups only serving to reinforce the growing popularity of the school.
As with all inspections there are some development areas which the school has already identified. We will continue to work hard to ensure these areas of development are successfully implemented across the school.
Finally, I would like to thank the staff and governors for all their hard work and dedication and also thank our wonderful children. The report highlights the fact that it is very much a team effort with everyone here playing an important role in the continued success of St William of York Catholic Primary School.
