Children in Year 4 took part in a workshop with Barrat Wilson Homes regarding the building of a ZED House (An enviromentally friendly building). They looked at how the house was designed to be as environemntally friendly as possible, breaking it down into individual stages. For example the recycling of the rain water, the use of wind and solar power etc. The children were then tasked with recreating the house in the form of a jigsaw, exploring the key features and their functions.
