Girls Chess Tournament

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 4 Year: 2025 - 2026

Two of our girls from Year 4 went along to the first Chess In Schools Girls Tournament last Sunday. The competition was held at Holy Lodge Girls High School and was attended by over 50 Chess players. Lily and Freya had a great day and played really well in what was a very competitive tournament, with both of them "walking away" with some silverware. (Please see the link below which has more information about the day)
