Lunt Meadows Nature Reserve

Lesson: History

Class: Year 3 Year: 2025 - 2026

Year 3 went on a history trip to Lunt Meadows Nature Reserve. We stepped back in time to the Mesolithic period of the Stone Age. The children were fully immersed in many different types of activities. We got to build Mesolithic houses from natural resources and we created our very own settlement. The children got to hold artefacts, create Stone Age art and got to be a hunter-gather. Year 3 had a fantastic time!
